THERE SHE IS…

At the end of 2019, God gave me the vision to design a brand-new handbag. Truthfully, I had no idea where to begin, but because this new idea would not leave me, I knew I needed to create a prototype.

The following year, I started researching and ordering sample handbags online. If I liked the design, I’d order just to see if it aligned with the concept God gave me. I had never made handbags before – all I had was my jewelry making skills and ambition. After receiving a few samples, I had myself my very first prototype that I put together in the living room of my apartment.

Ignorantly, I didn’t even know that this was considered a prototype at the time. I was just so excited and ready to launch it exactly how it looked with no changes. Hindsight, I am so thankful that I did not slip up and release that premature baby to you all.  I kept working to perfect it. After working with a total of 3 different handbag manufacturers, a couple of thousand dollars lost, and 2.5 years later, She’s the Bag was born.
